Bringing Experience and Passion to Western North Carolina

Before becoming a luxury agent and developer, Mark worked as an outdoor educator, home builder, and historic restoration specialist. His background in fine woodworking and construction gives him a keen eye for quality, detail, and the unique character that makes a home special. Growing up in a real estate household, he understands both the business and the lifestyle that make Western North Carolina so special. Whether he’s helping buyers find their mountain retreat or assisting sellers in positioning a distinctive property, Mark approaches every transaction with integrity and insight.

Outside of work, Mark’s life revolves around movement, nature, and family. Most mornings start with coffee and getting his son off to school, followed by cycling outdoors or inside on colder days. He and his wife of 32 years love hiking with their three dogs: Apollo, Lewis, and Juniper, who often race ahead to stop for a drink of fresh mountain water.

When he isn’t on a trail or a bike, Mark enjoys cooking, restoring their manor home in Laurel Park, and spending time in the garden. These activities fuel his creativity and keep him grounded. Family, cycling, hiking, and the outdoors give him the energy and perspective he brings to his clients.
