Originally from Connecticut, Jake first discovered the beauty of Western North Carolina in 1999 when he moved to the area to attend Montreat College as a student and soccer player. Captivated by the breathtaking mountains and welcoming community, he made Asheville his home — and has been a proud local for over 20 years.
